Go Green Express Home Services, located in Newburgh, NY, will be supporting and will make a $500 donation to Maybrook’s Survivors of Suicide, a benefit for suicide prevention. The Benefit will take place on June 18th, at Pole Barn Pavilion in Maybrook, NY. Frankie Sylvester, Go Green’s Operations Manager, who will be attending the benefit, explains “the tragedies that we’ve been experiencing across the country have affected all of us, and I’m honored that our company had decided to support this cause,” and he continues by saying “it’s important to us that we support our local communities in the Hudson Valley.”
Go Green Express Home Services focuses on enhancing the lives of the community members of the Hudson Valley by specializing in “green” technologies that improve comfort and save homeowners significant money on utility bills. Supporting local benefits and charities is another way Go Green Express can improve the lives of the people in the Hudson Valley.
All of the proceeds from the benefit will go to the Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The chapter serves Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Rockland, Putnam and Sullivan counties and will fund scientific research, offer educational programs for professionals, promote policies and legislation that impact suicide and prevention and provide programs and resources for survivors of suicide loss and people at risk.
As a continuing effort to support the Hudson Valley, Go Green Express has set up the Go Green Local Program as a community giveaway series. Nominations for not-for-profit organizations to receive a Whistle Stop on the Go Green Local can be made at the Go Green Express Home Services website—www.ggehs.com/GoGreenLocal—or through Facebook. Each month, a new not-for-profit will be chosen.
