Oil Fired Hot Water Boilers

Oil boiler installation, repair and maintenance
by Go Green Express Home Services

Buderus G215A hot water boiler is an appliance used to heat water for your home's hydronic heating system. The hot water is distributed through the home in pipes and radiate heat into the rooms with either a steel radiators, cast iron radiators or through baseboard convectors. Radiant heating systems provide heat by circulating hot water through special piping installed in and under floors, in walls and in ceilings.

The water in the heating system is circulated back to the boiler to be re-heated and re-circulated through the pipes to provide heat.

Selecting the right oil boiler can have a significant impact on your home life and the environment, as well as your wallet. And keeping your home's central heating system running efficiently and without interruption requires regular care and maintenance from experts you can trust.

A New Boiler Saves Energy and Money

With today's soaring energy prices, it really does pay to check all the latest deals and promotional offers to make sure you’re not paying too much for your oil and electricity. It’s so much easier nowadays to switch supplier to get a better deal but there’s an increasingly bewildering array of discounted energy plans on offer to both tempt and confuse you. Which one to choose? A low-cost variable plan or fixed price? Dual-fuel or single?

Installing a high efficiency boiler with an ENERGY STAR® rating (over 85% efficient) is both economical and environmentally friendly. This is especially good if your existing boiler has a combustion efficiency of less than 70%.

Just 1/8” of soot on oil heat exchanger surfaces drops efficiencies up to 25% - and with $4 per gallon oil that's a pretty expensive deferred maintenance program.

A properly running or new boiler will save fuel, lower emissions, and save you money. Being Green not only saves you the planet from harmful GHG's (Green House Gases), it also saves you money.

Components of a Hot Water Boiler

The boiler is more complex than a forced air furnace. Below is a list of the major components of the boiler for a forced-water heating system:
