Go Green Express Stops at Senior Pets Helping Senior People

Newburgh, NY: Ed Wolfe, managing director, Go Green Express Home Services, announced today that the fourth stop of the “Go Green Local” is in Pine Bush, New York at Senior Pets Helping Senior People, an organization specializing in helping senior citizens meet and keep “furry friends” who may be advancing in age as well.

Go Green Local is the community assistance arm of Go Green Express Home Services that makes “whistle stops” throughout the region, spreading some much-needed green wherever it goes. “Our hearts were warmed by the stories we heard about these match-ups” Mr. Wolfe remarks. “We’re delighted to be able to help.”

The donation of $500 will help the organization continue its mission of finding the ideal senior pet for the specific needs of a senior person. “Fixing up seniors with the right furry friend can be an expensive proposition for our organization, but the rewards are well worth the investment,” remarks Bonnie Korn, founder and director.  “This contribution is especially important in today’s economy, when so many organizations serving humans and animals are experiencing funding cuts. When life is hard, animals make it easier,” she adds.

Go Green Express Home Services is focused on eco-friendly home heating, cooling, and plumbing technologies that conserve energy and reduce energy bills. Through cost efficient repair and replacement solutions, the company helps customers live in healthier, eco-friendly home environments. Their Shades of Green Program enables customers to “go green” gradually. “Many people can’t make significant changes all at once. We help them do it at a pace that is comfortable and affordable to them,” Wolfe says.  The Go Green Local Community Assistance Program is another way we’re helping to build a better community – one stop at a time,” he adds.
